A dedicated team comprising our trustees, advisers, passionate colleagues and I have been pouring our heart and soul into making the project real.

The ArtsAcre Foundation was inaugurated on 6 March 2014 by Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal, and luminaries from major Arts from across India ~ Mahashweta Devi, Dr Karan Singh, Dr M Balamuralikrishna, Pandit Birju Maharaj, Anjolie Ela Menon ~ witnessed by a remarkable gathering of connoisseurs from all walks of life ~ punctuated with a lyrical presentation replete with Music and Poetry.

The Sarala-Basant Birla Auditorium was inaugurated subsequently by MK Narayanan, Governor of West Bengal in the presence of Sarala and Basant Birla.

We have received generosity from several patrons of the Arts. Now, with a little support from you, we can realise this dream together.
